We just returned from a week in paradise! We spent my husband's 60th Birthday at Too Much Nice and it was everything we could hope for and more! Julie's home was the perfect get-away to relax and unwind. The master bathroom was luxurious with the huge tub and open shower. All the furnishings in the villa were top notch! The location was perfect, close to many restaurants - Luna's, Yachtsman Grill - and beaches. Best of all, Julie made the booking process so easy and she promptly answered any questions I had. From arrival to ferry pick-up (Thanks again, Ian, for the early morning ferry arrival due to a schedule change with the airline...sorry about that!) and car rental, we couldn't ask for a more relaxing vacation! It was our first time in Nevis, and we definitely will be back again!!
We stayed at TooMuchNice for 4 weeks over February and March 2023. The Villa was spectacular. Very spacious and well-appointed. Our bedroom felt luxurious, as did the attached private bathroom. We loved the views of the Caribbean Sea overlooking St. Kitts. We developed a routine of walking to the beach, and from there we enjoyed a 5 km return beach stroll. We would pass very few people each day as we walked. It was exactly what we had hoped for. Our adult kids could stop along the way at Chrishi beach to get a drink, but it was never crowded. The monkeys were one of the highlights of the trip for us, and the restaurants were fabulous. We have now made long-term plans and have already reserved again for another month! Julie, our host, was super responsive to all of our questions as we planned for the stay, and we were very well looked after by Ian (the property manager) and Savi (the housekeepeer). We can't recommend TooMuchNice enough :-)

Golden Rock lived up to its reputation for the best lobster sandwiches.
We loved Paradise Beach- no one else there!!!
The music at Oaulie Beach on a Tuesday evening was great too.
We didn't manage to see any turtles which just means we'll have to visit again!!

My husband & I have been exploring a different Caribbean island for the last 6 years and Too Much Nice tops the list. it is exceptionally clean and well maintained. When we travel to a new location I spend lots of time researching rental car agencies, ferries or inter-island flights. Julie made this process so easy by making all the arrangements.
We enjoyed many relaxing afternoons by the large pool and appreciated the large covered porch with the comfortable sitting area to spend time reading & escaping the afternoon sun. One morning we had a local massage therapist come to the villa and we enjoyed massages by the poolside.
We did lots of exploring & hiking on the island. One morning we hiked "The Source" at the Golden Rock restaurant (They have maps available at their office) and afterwards enjoyed lunch at the restaurant. Another morning we hiked to Montraverse Estate and saw the arched bridge & the ruins of the estate.
There are several great restaurants near by, but some of our favorites were;
Yachetsman & Chrishi for breaksfast . (They also serve lunch & dinner). Our dinner favorites were Bananas, The Gin Trap and Riviere House, a local restaurant downtown across from the hospital. Hope cooks and prepares the fresh fish that her husband & sons catch. We enjoyed a great meal of lobster on the open air porch with a view of the evening sunset.
After our 2 week stay it was hard to leave (especially since it was -20 degrees back home).

My husband and I stayed here in May 2018 for one week. From the time we booked, the owner was helpful and quick with responses to questions. The arrival was made easy by having the taxi from St. Kitts airport to the water, and then the boat taxi over to Nevis - arranged by Ian. Ian picked us up and was very helpful in getting things sorted out for us and making recommendations on sights and restaurants. Having the car rental meet us at the house was very convenient. And then the house itself was great. Books to relax with at the ready, the convenience of the cell phone, laundry just downstairs for a mid-week load, a list of restaurants too long to get to all of them. The views were EXCELLENT. We visited a few different beaches, but honestly Chrishi Beach and Pinney's Beach were both so close and our favorites. Double Deuce up the road had some of the best fish I've ever had. Oh, and yes, there are monkeys in the neighborhood - have to look for them early or late, though, in the heat of May. Two thumbs up, would return!
Beautiful house, fully stocked with everything that you will need!
Very romantic, spacious and private, with amazing views and gorgeous colorful garden. The pool is really big compared to other homes we have rented, nice to swim in and cool off. We ended up cooking and having dinner at the house most evenings because it was hard to leave. Love the large bathroom and 4 poster bed with mosquito net. Ian and Savi who take care of things were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Perfect location, with views of St Kitts and Nevis Mountain, close to great restaurants, fun bars and beaches.
Our stay @ your home "TooMuchNice" was one of our best vacations ever!! Your pictures cannot describe how beautiful the house is. The house had everything we needed and more.
The island was one of the most friendly islands we had ever visited. We also cannot say enough about how wonderful your staff was taking care of every detail. Savi, David, their son, and Ian. Yes we toured the island and visited a few beaches, ruins, and restaurants, but it was hard to leave the pool where we spent most of our time relaxing. Never turned on the tv or the air due to the cool breezes every evening. We will be back!!!
Amazing Anniversary Trip
We loved our stay at Too Much Nice! We have been traveling in the Caribbean for over 25 years, normally renting a villa or home so that we can experience living on the island. After staying at Too Much Nice for 10 days, we both agreed that it was by far one of the nicest properties we have ever booked. It checks all the boxes for us: clean, close to beaches and restaurants, easy to access, A/C in the bedroom, private and a pool. And this pool is absolutely top notch for swimming, lounging, and views! The property is exactly as advertised and Julie is a great hostess - easy to work with and very helpful. We also appreciated Julie and her property manager, Ian, arranging all the transfer details and the rental car. This service is very valuable and is such a luxury. Julie's recommendations on restaurants is spot on. We enjoyed Double Deuce for several meals, as well as the Gin Trap. For our anniversary, we chose to go to Coconut Grove and have lobster and an amazing bottle of wine. As always, we enjoyed to local people and our time on the island of Nevis. And, as I told Julie, we will be back!

May 2015: My wife and I stayed at Too Much Nice and had a perfect experience. Daily relaxing by the pool reading books and enjoying the tranquil environment. The home was as beautiful and appointed as advertised and expected. Highlights: Taking walks around the area and enjoying the monkey's, eating great food at the local restaurants, and meeting the friendly people along the way. If we ever come back to Nevis, we will be staying at Too Much Nice!
Our Dream Get-Away
This was our second time staying at this beautiful villa on Nevis. Both stays at TooMuchNice exceeded our expectations. The villa is very well maintained and clean. We couldn't help but notice the improvements made to the grounds and furnishings. My husband enjoyed drinking his early morning coffee up in the newly added gazebo where he could take in the panoramic views of not only the turquoise water but also majestic Mt. Nevis. The views of St. Kitts from the pool area are also absolutely beautiful. It's a place that you can't help but find relaxing and scenic. We were fortunate to see the monkeys playing daily in the neighborhood. We also discovered that the monkeys are very active between 4-5pm so we took daily strolls around the neighborhood to observe them. The baby monkeys were everywhere and we had so much fun watching them play. There is also a walk you can take off the back road near the villa that takes you to a few old sugar cane relics. We waited five years between visits but we have already decided we will wait no longer than 2 years before returning. We can't imagine staying anywhere else on Nevis than this beautiful villa. Our favorite restaurants are - Bananas, Mango's, Sunshine's (for a Killer Bee) and Golden Rock. Be sure to take the beach chairs over to nearby Paradise Beach for the day. It's one of the most beautiful beaches we've ever visited! Julie, we can't thank you enough for making our stay so pleasant and for the smooth arrangements for our transport to and from St. Kitts airport to your lovely villa. A very dreamy place to chill and we are so thankful for you sharing your lovely home with us! No photo can do this place justice. There is just too much beauty to take in.
A Slice of Paradise
We just returned from an absolutley wonderful week enjoying both the island of Nevis and "TooMuchNice"! The owners were wonderful to interact with and the house manager, Ian was very helpful and personable. If you are looking to relax, de-stress and have lots of privacy, "TooMuchNice" is perfect. The views from the sprawling decks were amazing. The pool spotless and refreshing and why go to the Botanical Gardens when you have one not only in your front yard, but your back yard as well! "TooMuchNice" was well maintened and very very clean. Plenty of towels in the bathroom and a huge soaking tub that you must take advantage of! While we never cook on vacation, the kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. We love having a washer and dryer available as well since you can travel with a carryon! Property is in the perfect location on the island (didn't know it at the time since this was our first trip to Nevis) and a very easy drive to fabulous restaurants and beaches! If we ever get the change to visit Nevis again, we would definitely stay at "TooMuchNice"...a perfect home away from home!
Should be named 'Just about Perfect'
Nevis is a fantastic location for a relaxing upscale vacation with family or friends and Too Much Nice is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the locale. Almost all features of this property are actually better than listed and we found it hard to leave the villa to explore the rest of island. Getting to the property is a breeze due to the great logistical support arranged by Ian. The location of the property is ideal as it is easy to drive to nearby beaches in either direction. I visited with my elderly father and my 2 young adult sons and all 3 generations found Too Much Nice to be much to our liking. The pool is spotless, the views are fantastic and I can't wait to return for out next visit. I highly recommend this property but hope that the booking calendar has room for us during our next visit.
Rent this Villa!
"Too Much Nice" could well be named "Couldn't Be Nicer" or maybe "Won't Wanna Leave"! The house is beautifully designed, exceptionally furnished and well provisioned. Everything about this home is truly first class. We didn't want to leave it to explore the island! But we did, and coming back to it was a pleasure, each and every day of the two weeks we spent there. I won't repeat the accolades you will find in every review of this property, except to reiterate that the owner is lovely to do business with, and the house staff are as nice as can be. You will be more than pleased with this accommodation.
